Lea Manor High School

Christmas Market

Saturday 14th December, 10am to 2pm. Free Entry.

Lea Manor High School is hosting a Christmas Market in aid of Luton Foodbank on Saturday 14th December 2024, from 10am to 2pm. The Foodbank is a crucial charity for many of our families in Luton, especially in the Marsh Farm area. Luton Foodbank is Lea Manor's chosen charity and this Christmas, with your help, we will be further supporting their initiatives. Entry to the Christmas Market will be free, but if you are able to, please bring a food item(s) to donate to Luton Foodbank. All of the school's proceeds from this Christmas Market will be donated to Luton Foodbank.

Our market will be host to a wide range of different festive attractions to fill up with Christmas spirit. Stalls selling a range of crafts, gifts, and handmade products will be available for you to find everything you need for Christmas. Fill up on all your favourite foods in our food market. Test your skills and have lots of fun by playing our festive games and see what prizes you can win. Keep an eye out for our guest of honour, as Santa Claus is scheduled to be visiting our Christmas Market.

The main event of our Christmas Market will be our Grand Raffle. Win some amazing prizes donated by our generous sponsors and really make your Christmas special. Keep an out on for the reveal of the prizes you can win, you don't want to miss it!

Luton Foodbank

This event is in support of Luton Foodbank.

The main aims of the Foodbank are to eradicate food poverty in Luton and to support people so that they can take steps to overcome the problems that brought them to the Foodbank. They provide free, nutritionally balanced, and culturally appropriate food to people in hardship or distress, as well as signposting information to local advice and information services to anyone in Luton who may need it.

Luton Foodbank is registered charity and makes no profit. They are only able to operate due to donations of the public. They have a number of collection points across Luton, with the nearest one to the school being in Future's House.

If you are able to, please consider donating to Luton Foodbank to support them in their mission and to make sure no one in Luton goes hungry, especially this Christmas time. Please see below the list of items that can be donated to the Foodbank. Please check that the expiry date of your donated food is more than two months away.
